The Challenge.
Higher education has accelerated its massive shift toward digital learning in the aftermath of Covid-19.
Most faculty still teach in multiple face-to-face and virtual formats. As such, they have to take on many new roles; not just educator, but also learning designer, videographer, educational technologist, graphic designer and more.

To bring humanized, inclusive, and engaged learning to all institutions, our design team developed the Purposeful Learning Framework™, a free and Open Education Resource
(OER) which serves as our guidepost for supporting academic leaders, faculty, and students across the learning experience.
It includes tools, templates and resources that help faculty bridge the gap between design and delivery of learning and focus on equitable and successful student outcomes.

Curie. is our educator engine. Curie. is a dedicated environment to optimize the time educators spend teaching and developing learning experiences. It is comprised of 3 core experiences:
- Discover, to find resources, tools, and collections,
- Portfolio, to revisit teaching activities and build community, and
- Learn, to house micro-learning and professional development.
We worked with a panel of faculty to understand their workloads and workflows. As a result, we developed resources, tools, and features to help optimize each stage of the teaching experience. Our “teaching optimizers” are dynamic resources that enable educators to rapidly develop high impact activities, experiences, and content.
